We have taken a unique approach to the business of Public Safety and Private Patrol Services. Many of our competitors routinely employ minimally screened and trained employees. Our approach involves a proactive theory of well-groomed, exceptionally trained, uniformed Public Safety and Patrol Officers. In order for us to place such personnel within our Company, we must attract and retain qualified employees from day one. The following is an overview of the areas in which are applicants are screened and evaluated for suitability, prior to being selected for duty:
 
Criminal History Check
 
Each applicant shall submit to a Criminal History Check through the Indiana State Police Criminal Database. These checks shall be conducted using fingerprints, not just a name and date of birth. The results of this inquiry and the fingerprint card shall be kept in the employee’s personal file.
 
Employer Reference Check
 
A previous and current Employer Reference Check will be conducted to evaluate the applicant’s employment history, performance, ability to multi-task, attendance records, etc. We as a Company, feel it is important to recruit only applicants that demonstrate a career oriented attitude. 
  
Personal Reference Check
 
Potential applicants must provide at least three non-relative or employer references. A Personal Reference Check is utilized to assess the applicant’s integrity, character, and willingness to be a team player within our Company. The use of these third party objective sources, will allow us to gain a better insight into the potential applicants background.   
 
Driver History Report
 
Applicants are required to submit a Driver History Report from their state’s motor vehicle bureau. These reports must be clear of any moving violations for the past three years from the date of the report. In addition to this, applicants must provide a copy of their valid state driver’s license. This shall apply to only specific Client Site Locations.  
 
Pre-Employment Drug Screen
 
Our Company strongly believes in fostering an environment free of illegal drugs and alcohol. Applicants will be administered a five panel Pre-Employment Drug Screen from a licensed medical facility. In order to maintain a drug and alcohol free environment, employees will be required to submit to random testing throughout their employment with our Company.
